As many of you know, I’m trying to limit the amount of additives in my diet. To that end, I found recipes for homemade manicotti and homemade ricotta cheese.
Both were found on the blog “In Jennie’s Kitchen” where she gives in depth information on the procedures and ingredients. My only change was that I added chopped spinach to the ricotta mixture. It turned out delicious!
I also used a homemade marinara sauce to round out the dish. With salad and garlic bread it was both additive free and delicious.
