Cooking British

I am having a blast cooking from a new cookbook from one of our wedding guests (Thanks Denise and Richard!) all about British food.


It’s wonderful to read about the different types of dishes in the various regions in Great Britain and learning about ingredients that are new to me, or ones I know with completely different names. So what if I have to keep google open to research what I want to cook, or the Celsius to Fahrenheit scale available to find out how hot to bake something – its all part of the learning process and so much fun!

I can’t wait to visit! Hopefully we will have a full fledged honeymoon to the British Isles in the next year or so. I fully expect to gain 15 pounds while I’m there….
